After School Technology Instructor (Part-time)

Computer Adventures (www.computeradventures.com) is looking for part-time instructors to teach afterschool enrichment classes at schools in Westchester, New York.

Training will be provided. Our curriculum is fun and educational.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Deliver instructions in schools as assigned using curriculum provided by Computer Adventures
  • Attend training session provided Computer Adventures
  • Prepare for classes
  • Manage teaching schedule & attendance through Computer Adventures’ scheduling software.
  • May need to transport and manage assigned equipment

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience teaching or supervising children (teaching certificate a plus, but not required)
  • Must have experience working with computers
  • Enjoy teaching, working with children and technology
  • Dependable, prompt and flexible
  • Able to work independently

Requirements:

  • Willingness to have background check and fingerprint clearance

Compensation:

$60 to $70 per one-hour class
